Our story began when our CEO and Co-Founder, Or Israel, the former head of Engineering and VP of R&D in the medical device industry, encountered firsthand the inefficiencies of traditional design change management. His brother Ofir, our CTO and Co-Founder, brought years of experience working in AI computer vision at Amazon.
Together, they fused their expertise to create bananaz — a platform that streamlines design workflows, catches costly errors early, and empowers engineering teams to work smarter and faster. From concept to delivery, bananaz ensures precision and clarity at every step, helping companies bring products to market with confidence.

Or brings over a decade of experience in mechanical engineering and 3D modeling. Before founding, he was the Head of Engineering and VP of R&D at Keystone Dental Group, where he led international cross-functional teams and managed the development of Class II medical devices and manufacturing processes. Previously, Or served as an Officer in the Intelligence Corps of the IDF. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and is a graduate of the Iacocca Global Village at Lehigh University, Pennsylvania.
Ofir has extensive experience in software development, computer vision, machine learning, and AI. Before co-founding bananaz.ai, he was a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he contributed to the "Just Walk Out" technology for Amazon Go stores. Prior to that, he worked at SentinelOne. As part of his military service, he served in the Intelligence Corps. of the IDF, leading projects focused on research and development. Ofir holds a B.Sc. in Computer and Software Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
