Every PDM or CAD migration carries the same quiet fear. Decades of design data move from one system to another, formats get translated along the way, and somewhere in those thousands of files a tolerance changes, a dimension loses a decimal place, or a note disappears. The standard defense is spot-checking a sample, which is really a decision about which errors you are willing to find. A sample catches systematic translation problems if you are lucky, misses everything else by design, and whatever slips through repeats in every batch because nobody learned from it.
